Emergency Medical Technician
The aim of the curriculum is to educate and train specialists who can provide medical assistance to people requiring emergency medical care due to injury in an accident. The emergency medical technician has general knowledge of the characteristics, pharmaceutical forms and administration methods of medications used in emergency medicine. The emergency medical technician knows how to use medical equipment and devices applied in emergency medicine, as well as the methods of transporting and moving the injured.

Standard period of study: 1 year
Language of instruction: Estonian
The curriculum consists of four basic modules:
- basics of emergency medical care services
- emergency medical care
- career planning and entrepreneurship
- practical training in the working environment
