Students Council

Student Union makes your time in Tartu Health Care College more exciting. They organize different events for students (events for welcoming new students, health week), help the school board with questions about student life and arrange health promotion events like walking week

The purpose of the Student Union is to engage students in making the decisions relevant for them and to provide opportunities to express their opinion in issues related to the activities of the THCC. Representatives of the Student Union belong to the THCC Council and the Curriculum Boards, they are engaged in the activities of the Pedagogical Board.

Many of these events are also published in the THCC web magazine „Tervist! ” which the union has a close partnership with.

The Student Council of the Tartu Health Care College has been working with students’ concerns, joys, organization and assistance since 2005, when the school received the title of a higher education institution. The activities, membership and procedure of the Student Union are specified in the Statutes. The main task of the Student Union is to protect the interests of students both within the school and at the level of the republic. The Student Union is a member of the EUL – Federation of Estonian Student Unions since 2006, which is a student umbrella organization whose goal is to represent the interests of Estonian students and protect their rights.
