The objective of this programme is to bring together students from two different curricula – physiotherapy and radiography, to promote and rehearse interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare. Using simulation learning enables us to work with realistic scenarios, while providing risk-fee environment.

We will be focusing on:

– roles of different healthcare professions in enhancing musculoskeletal outcomes for breast cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy,

– importance of patient-centered care in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for breast cancer radiotherapy,

– post-surgical rehabilitation strategies to optimize function and contribute to the outcomes of radiotherapy.

The programme includes site visits to traineeship partners (Tartu University Hospital).

Students and staff members from partner institutions (with active Erasmus+ IIA) can participate with Erasmus+ mobility grant.

3 ECTS will be awarded on completion of the full programme (including online meeting and individual pre-course assignment).
